In the mountainous area between the provinces of Avellino and Salerno, it rises Caposele, in a place where the healthiness of its waters have made it an ideal place to live and where the religious heritage of the hamlet Materdomini, which has become a pilgrimage destination where the Sanctuary of San Gerardo Maiella.
On the right bank of the Sele, the small one Senerchia it houses a very suggestive and spooky abandoned village. Outside the center, largely rebuilt after the 1980 earthquake, there is the WWF Oasis Hunting Valley, famous for its beautiful waterfalls.
