EASTER IN CILENTO, FROM THE MOUNTAIN TO THE SEA

CERASO (SA) - FROM 02 TO 05 APRIL 2021

Halfway between the coastal Cilento and the internal Cilento, immersed in the green of the Mediterranean vegetation and the sea breeze, Ceraso, an ancient crossroads of peoples, still occupies a strategic position where to stay to get to know the rich and varied territory of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni.

The proposed itinerary will lead you to discover ancient villages, fortified sites, naturalistic places, breathtaking views that you will experience "from the ground", in direct contact with the ground ... that you will touch with your feet or with your bike.

ITINERARY: Ceraso, E-bike excursion to Monte Gelbison, Trekking La Via del Sale

DURATION: 3 days / 2 nights

TRAVEL PROGRAM

Day 1 - Ceraso (SA)

  • Arrival in the afternoon or evening
  • Accommodation in the rooms
  • Participation in a workshop on local specialties at the facility*
  • Dinner and overnight

 

* It is possible to participate in one of the following workshops:

  • Goats and goats: workshop to get to know local cheeses and dairy products with tasting
  • Let's knead: a workshop to get to know the local traditions of homemade pasta with tasting

 

Day 2 - Ceraso - Monte Gelbison - Cannalonga - Ceraso

  • Breakfast in the structure
  • Meeting at the hotel with the guide, accommodation for the e-bike excursion
  • E-bike excursion: stops are planned at the historic center of San Biase (hamlet Ceraso), the forest nursery, the Monte Gelbison Sanctuary, the municipality of Cannalonga, the ancient village of Novi Velia, panoramic points along the route
  • Lunch
  • Continuation of the excursion to return to the structur
  • Dinner and overnight

 

Day 3 - Ceraso - The Via del Sale - Velia

  • Breakfast in the structure
  • Meeting in the structure with the guide, accommodation for the trekking
  • Trekking the Via del Sale: the route to the archaeological area of ​​Velia through paths and country roads in the Municipality of Ceraso and Ascea
  • Lunch
  • Continuation of the excursion to return to the structur
  • Dinner and overnight

 

Day 4 - Ceraso - departure

  • Departure after breakfast
  • Departure for the return

 

PARTICIPATION FEE: € 285,00 PER PERSON, with a guaranteed minimum of 8 pax.

 

The fee includes:

  • 3 nights, in b&b treatment
  • 1 e-bike excursion: hiking guide, e-bike rental, equipment rental, water bottle, insurance
  • 1 trekking on foot: hiking guide (insurance not included)
  • 1 laboratory in the structure
  • 1 free basket with products from the La Petrosa farm

 

The fee does not include:

  • 2 dinners on Friday and Saturday in the structure. Cost of integration: € 22,00 per person for dinner
  • 1 Easter Sunday dinner: € 32,00 per person per dinner
  • 2 packed lunches (basket provided by the hotel): 8 euros per lunch per person
  • Drinks according to consumption
  • Any tickets for entrances to paid sites
  • Medical-luggage-cancellation-covid protection-vehicle assistance-activity insurance: € 13,00 per person

EXCURSIONS:

  • E-bike excursion: route length approx 30 km round trip, 7 hours overall, medium difficulty
  • Trekking: route length approx 15 km round trip, 4 hours overall, medium difficulty
